1968. B.A., Psychology, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
1969 - 72. Traveled extensively throughout Europe, while he was a captain stationed at the HQ, US Army, Europe, Heidelberg, Germany.
1975. B. Architecture, Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, IL.
1976 - 2006. Chicago, IL. He was in the commercial real estate business for 30 years while collecting art of emerging artists and attending exhibitions and lectures at various institutions including The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Smart Museum and the Rennaissance Society at the University of Chicago. Membership at the Chinati Foundation, Marfa, TX and DIA Foundation, Beacon, NY.
2006. Completed the Metal Sculpture Course at the Evanston Art Center, Evanson, IL.
2007 He and his wife moved to a modern house they designed on an 80-acre pinon-juniper grassland site, in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains, 40 miles southeast of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
EXHIBITIONS
• 2006. Cafe Selmarie, Chicago, IL. One person "retrospective" of over 40 phtographs and 10 sculptures.
• 2008. Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art, Albuquerque. Ten of his sculptures and photographs were exhibited.
• 2010. PHOTO New Mexico 2010 at Matrix Fine Art, Albuquerque. He received the 1st Place Juror's Award from Andrew Connors, Curator of Art, The Albuquerque Museum. There were 224 entries from 74 artists, including many professional photographers.
• 2011. Center for Comporary Arts, Santa Fe, NM. One sculpture and the corresponding photograph are included in COLLECT 10 - a group show.
• 2011. Chumani Gallery, Madrid, NM. The Avianic Structural Steel Series and Circus Elephants. Ten oxidized steel sculptures and corresponding photographs are in an extended exhibition.
• 2011. 105 Art Gallery (now Downtown Contemporary Gallery), Albuquerque, NM. Twelve photographs and sculptures were exhibited in a group show.
• 2011. Sculpture Competition, UNM - West Campus, Rio Rancho, NM. "Wisdom Search", an oxidixed steel sculpture, was a finalist in the outdoor sculpture competition.
